The OWADIS project is coming to an end

The Czech-Saxon information platform for the collection, sharing and analysis of data on the Lusatian wolf population project (OWADIS), supported by the European Regional Development Fund, achieved its planned goals. The representatives of the project partners informed about this at the final meetings, which took place on September 6 in the Cultural Center in Klášterec nad Ohří, on September 22 in the Center of the Saxon Switzerland National Park in Bad Schandau and on September 23 in the Baroque Hall of Děčín Castle. The project leader, Aleš Vorel, presented the project outputs to more than 60 participants. The monitoring results in the project area were presented by Jan Horníček, Paul Lippitsch, Cati Blum Rerat and Lukáš Žák. The last lecture was dedicated to the introduction of the Wolf Monitoring Application presented by Pavla Jůnková Vymyslická, and the end of the meeting was always filled with a free discussion with the participants.
