We are a research group that has been studying the modern spread of wolves in Central Europe since 2014. We are interested in all ecological aspects associated with the return of an apex predator to the cultural landscape. Our goal is to provide objective and scientific facts that must be reflected in preventing potentially conflicting situations that may accompany the return of wolves. The wolf is a very mobile animal with its own requirements for inhabited territory, at the same time it often lives on the border of two or more states. That is why in our research we cooperate very intensively with research, conservation or other wolf-affected organizations from the Czech Republic as well as from neighboring countries (Saxony, Bavaria, Poland, Austria, Slovakia).
