Excursion to Bohemian Switzerland National Park

The participants of an excursion organized by representatives of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park Administration on Saturday, September 19, 2026, enjoyed beautiful weather. The event was prepared in cooperation with local tourist associations and was open to interested people from both the Czech and Saxon sides of the border. The program focused primarily on red deer and their impact on their habitat, as well as factors influencing the local red deer population—such as wolves, bark beetle outbreaks, tourism, and wildfires.
