The project entitled "Objective Wolves Acceptance in human-altered cross boundary lanDscapes" (OWAD) began on October 23 at the premises of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences with a joint meeting of all cooperating partners. Representatives of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic, the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic, the Museum of Görlitz and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague discussed the basic procedures for launching the project and presented staffing.
The three-year project (No. 100322836) funded by EU funds under the Cooperation Program of the Czech Republic and the Free State of Saxony aims in particular at the cross-border alignment of procedures for the monitoring of wolves and for the prevention and resolution of conflicts arising from its return to the Central European country.
