The OWAD project was introduced to students of the first to third year of the Secondary Forestry School in Žlutice on 12th June. During nearly two-hour seminar the project managers informed participants about the mission and goals of the project, and representatives of the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic (AOPK) as a project partner presented the AOPK as an important subject with which foresters and hunters will come into contact in their practice. A fruitful discussion has confirmed that the theme of large cats resonates among the adepts of forestry, and at the same time opened the door to mutual future cooperation in the West Bohemian region.
