REDEMA project in schools

We made the beginning of the school year more interesting for the 6th grade students of the primary school in the German village of Königstein, where we went for an educational workshop on September 24, 2024. The students were demanding, asked a lot of questions and were of course most interested in practical things, where they could try out telemetry and tracking a collar using an antenna with a receiver. They could see not only telemetric collars, but also skulls of various mammals or feathers from various bird species. They were also interested in the camera traps, which the project representatives installed in advance around the school and then checked them with the students and determined the species captured.
