Discussion of the planned wolf management plan with the professional public took place on 14th December 2018 at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The event was organized by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic in co-operation with other partners of the OWAD project. In addition to presentations of Czech experts, there were also German experts on the issue of the return of wolves, namely Gesa Kluth from the Saxon Institute of Lupus and Ulrich Wotschikowski, former gamekeeper of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Representatives of Czech, German and Slovak, government, interest groups, and non-profit institutions and organizations had a unique chance to discuss a wide plenary theme about settings policy document of apex predator return to the Central Europe. At the same time, the participants had a chance to express themselves in the developed debate on the text of the prepared management plan, which will be discussed in the coming months by the experts of the ministries concerned.
