Award for the film About Wolves and People of the OWAD project

The film About Wolves and People, dealing with the issue of the return of wolves to the Czech Republic, won the Mayor of Opava Award at this year's international T-film festival. The award of the angel with a crystal heart was personally accepted by the film's director Michal Gálik at the gala evening on October 14. The film by screenwriters Michal Gálik, Sebastian Koerner and Tomáš Jůnek was made as part of a three-year Czech-Saxon OWAD project led by Faculty of Environmental Sciences, in which the Ministry of the Environment, the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic and the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History in Görlitz collaborated.

The T-film International Film Festival 2021 presents short documentaries on the following topics: space, environment, social, global inspiration, new technologies, talent development, protection of traditions and cultural heritage, and care and conservation of technical and industrial monuments.
