At the beginning of May 2023, a new project called "Ecological impacts of the return of wolves to the Šumava/Bavarian Forest ecosystem (WoBoFE)" was launched. The registry project under the number BYCZ01-001 is financed by the European Union from the program Interreg Bavaria – Czechia 2021–2027.
On May 30, 2023, an introductory meeting of the entire team that implement the project took place in Vimperk.
The meeting was attended by representatives of all project partners – the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, the Šumava National Park Administration and the Bavarian Forest National Park Administration. The aim of the meeting was to get to know the entire team, set up cooperation and project management, discuss the goals and outputs of the project.
