On October 23rd - 24th, 2024, the conference "Šumava Research Actualities", organized by the Šumava National Park Administration, took place in Srní. The conference focuses on new findings from research in the Šumava and Bavarian Forest National Parks.
The WoBoFE project was presented by lectures of the project partners ČZU and NP Bavarian Forest, focused on the strategy of wolf territory formation and restoration of the landscape of fear for ungulates in the context of wolf return to the territory. Furthermore, three project posters were prepared. The first one summarized the information about the project. The other one focused on the development of the wolf population in Šumava and the impact of the wolf return on the European beaver population.
