The final conference of the OWAD project was suposed to take place on September 24, 2020 in the House of Bohemian Switzerland in Krásná Lípa. Due to the development of the epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic, the conference was canceled. Nevertheless, we want to share the results of the project team's work with you, which is why we decided to find an alternative solution in the form of a detailed report and presentation. You can choose which form you like better. Both variants provide an overview of what has happened in 3 project years corcerning wolves in the project area, but also outside it. You can read about the current distribution of wolves, the results of food and genetic analyses, as well as the results of monitoring using camera traps. An important topic is also the management measures (wolf management plan, compensations, herd protection standards, or monitoring standards), on which we cooperated with the partners in the project and we managed to move forward in this field as well. Throughout the project, we worked intensively with the public, which we consider crucial for the acceptance of the wolf in our landscape, and therefore the final overview also includes the publicity of the project.
