Seminars for foresters and hunters in Jablonné v Podještědí

Seminars for foresters and hunters in Jablonné v Podještědí took place on 4th October in the local community centre. Participants including foresters, hunters, and nature conservation authorities of the Lusatian Mountains learned about the OWAD project and its content, as well as the history of wolf distribution in Europe, the methodology of monitoring, and the results of the collaboration between Czech and Saxon researchers. The all-day event, which culminated in a long and stimulating discussion of all the stakeholders, was organized by employees of the Czech Nature Conservation Agency (AOPK CR).
