The OWAD project publishes the second results of spatial monitoring campaigns using camera traps in the Ore Mountains and National Parks Česko-Saské Švýcarsko (Czech and Saxon Switzerland). We offer the first comparison of the results of two different seasons, namely vegetation and off vegetation. Mammal communities do not change as far as the number of species is concerned, but the occurrence of the most common ungulates is a fundamental change. Again, the most frequently recorded animal in both localities was the European deer, but in the Ore Mountains its relative abundance fourteen times decreased compared to the late spring season. It is important to pay attention to the fact that the decrease of relative abundance occurred before snowfall in the mountains. There was a significant decrease in the number of people in the National Park area, but they are still recorded in almost half of the camera traps.
