More than 150 pupils from Velký Šenov Primary School gathered on Wednesday, May 15, first in the school gym hall to listen to presentations about the project, red deer and their predators. Afterwards, the pupils went out into the surrounding nature with representatives of the project partners to experience the project activities for themselves. They followed the tracks of wolves, tried to track down a collared red deer using an antenna and receiver, installed camera traps on nearby trees or filled out protocols and worksheets. Everyone praised the cooperation and, of course, especially the pupils, who were able to try out a technology they had never come into contact with before.
