More than 40 participants from the Saxon forest managers and hounds from the borderland around the Šluknov region took part on the OWAD project presentation on 14th March in Sohland an der Spree. The project manager Tomáš Jůnek and Paul Lippitsch from Museum Görlitz presented the project, its goals and vision, as well as the specific field activities, the monitoring system and the latest information on the wolf distribution. The OWAD project was welcomed, in particular, by representatives of state forests and Saxon Switzerland National Park staff who expressed an interest in jointly preparation of compatible monitoring of the territory in both national parks.
