The Czech Saxony project partners coworking on collecting field data met in Liberec on 19th June at the Research Institute of Plant Production. The field team from the Faculty of Environmental Sciences CZU and the Görlitz Museum have acquainted their colleagues with the results of the already finished first monitoring period of the first winter 2017/2018 of the OWAD project. A half-day meeting also brought a workshop on recognizing wolves from photos taken by camera traps and their subsequent categorization in the SCALP system. The partners eventually planned further joint activities for the coming months and specified the date of the first wolf capture for subsequent telemetry.
